Description
English:

An up close view of the hole that is going to be the chimney. The outside of the hole is surrounded by brick and mortar, and the border of the image shows the sheets of copper that point upwards. There is a black and white sign leaning on the brick that reads "Gettysburg NMP Warfield House Laying Brick Chimney North Wall PEPC 85531 9-11-20 Smith."

Preservationists set bricks for the chimney at the peak of the gable wall. Copper flashing has been installed to create a waterproof transition from the cedar shingle roof to the brick chimney.
