Description
English: Preserved London Transport bus BS5 (reg. GHV 505N), a 1975 Bristol LHS midibus with ECW bodywork. It's pictured in the car park of the Staplecross Shrub Centre in East Sussex, which appears to be its current home inbetween rally appearances. Accommodating 26 seats in its 24ft length, the BS class was a shortened version of the already short LHS. Its been preserved in London Transport livery, and wears route blinds for London Buses route C11, which it worked from new until withdrawal from London service after just 6 years.
