During a working trip to the Kyiv region, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Hryhorii Skovoroda Memorial Museum in the city of Pereiaslav. On the territory of the museum there is a commemorative sign for the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian philosopher, which was installed on the occasion of the inclusion of this date in the UNESCO Calendar of Commemorative Dates. It depicts a drawing of a thinker, reflecting his philosophical views. Volodymyr Zelenskyy watched the museum's exposition. In particular, rare books of the XVII-XIX centuries, a collection of ancient textbooks, which were used for studying 200 years ago, are stored here. In one of the rooms, there is a portrait of Hryhorii Skovoroda made at the end of the XVIII century, which is considered the oldest in Ukraine.
