English: Preston Railway Station The main platforms at Preston station are connected to the ticket office by this ramp. Some care seems to have been taken to ensure that the modern poster stands do not conflict with the beautifully painted Victorian railings, columns and roof girders. In the platforms beyond a blue and red Trans-Pennine Express train and a yellow and white bus-on-rail-wheels "Pacer" unit await their next duties. |
