English: The inscription on the clock bell, which once hung on Preveza's Venetian Clock Tower. It is the work of the Canciani bell Foundry, Venice, Italy. Photograph of 29 June 2016. The Italian inscription is: The Italian inscription is: PER L’ OROLOGLIO DI PREVESA ERRETTOSI SOTTO LA REGGENZA. PERPETUAMENTE MEMORABILE, DELL’ N. H. Z. ALESSANDRO SEMITECOLO, DALLA COMUNITA’ ORNATISSIMA. ANNO DOMINI MDCCXCI, which freely translated in English means: For Preveza's clock tower, erected by the ornate community, under the regency of the perpetually memorable noble Alessandro Semitecolo. Anno Domini 1791.
Ελληνικά: Η επιγραφή της καμπάνας που υπήρχε στον βενετσιάνικο πύργο του ρολογιού της Πρέβεζας από το 1792 μέχρι το 1808 περίπου. Έργο των Canciani, φημισμένων κατασκευαστών καμπανών της Βενετίας. Φωτογραφία της 29 Ιουνίου 2016. Η βενετσιάνικη επιγραφή αναφέρει: PER L’ OROLOGLIO DI PREVESA ERRETTOSI SOTTO LA REGGENZA. PERPETUAMENTE MEMORABILE, DELL’ N. H. Z.
