Summary
editDescriptionPrickshaw hamlet, near Rochdale, Lancashire - geograph.org.uk - 850561.jpg |
English: Prickshaw hamlet, near Rochdale, Lancashire Once all-but abandoned, Prickshaw is now very much a 'des res' area. The house next but one to the near end, was formerly a public house, the 'Star'. The end house was its brewhouse, when it brewed its own beer many years ago. The 'Star' closed as a pub about 1950. I have not located a photograph of it as it was in its former existence. |
