Description
English: Priest Holme Changeline Bridge 168, Leeds and Liverpool Canal The Leeds and Liverpool had its own vocabulary. Turnover bridges here became changeline bridges, swing bridges became swivel bridges, and paddles became cloughs, (pronounced 'clows'). If you lived around here you would know what a jack clough was, and how to operate it.
