Description
English: Following an experiment during the mid eighties in an attempt to create a permanent image incorporating magnetised iron filings, Environmental Sand Artist Brian Pike produced a picture entitled 'A field of magnetised iron filings'. This was a forerunner to a Sand Painting which incorporated magnetised iron filings in Mrs. T's suit and also in the background of the compostion.
