English: Primrose Hill, Batley. This is an example of houses with their backs to the road and their fronts to the garden side with a view over the valley. They were built on a narrow strip of land carved out of the fields adjoining the railway. There were originally groups of privies against the boundary wall on the right. Looking south towards Lany Ann Road. |
