English: Portrait of Prince Edward in a Roundel. Pen and black ink on paper, compass point, 5.1 cm diameter, Kunstmuseum Basel. Prince Edward is here surrounded by oak leaves and acorns, a symbol of renewal. The drawing was probably intended to be engraved onto precious metal or stone (Foister, p. 101).
