Description
English: Promenade from The Groves to the Old Port On the left of the promenade is the River Dee with the North Wales main line railway bridge crossing it. The wooden staircase is part of a public footpath across the bridge. On the right is a TV camera platform, which is used on race days. Immediately in front, and across the path, is a gate that is locked on race days. The second of the two arches is the one that has been broken through to allow the promenade to continue to the Old Port, unfortunately that arch also has a substantial fence and locked gate at the time of writing.
