Description Spikelets are 7.5-10 mm long, lanceolate and 2-flowered. Lower glume is about 1.5 mm long and upper glume is the shape and size of the spikelet. Lower lemma is male and as long as the spikelet - similar in texture to the upper glume. Fertile lemma is 3.25-3.5 mm long and much thinner in texture.
