English: Public footpath, Church Thorns. The footpath doubles back on itself here to skirt round Church Thorns on its way to Barkestone. The ground in the Vale of Belvoir is basically a heavy clay and from September onwards there can be a lot of water lying on the surface even after dry spells. |
