Description
English: Information plaque at house 23 August Bebel Street (August-Bebel-Straße 23) in Putbus, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Despite the distinctive emblem for the Protection of Cultural Property beside the door the building is not (anymore) a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Informationsschild am Wohnhaus August-Bebel-Straße 23 in Putbus, Landkreis Vorpommern-Rügen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Deutschland. Das Handwerkerhaus wurde demnach um 1819 von Glasermeister Schmidt erbaut. Das Grundstück (vormals Louisenstraße No. 42) – bestehend aus Vorderhaus, einem zweistöckigen Hinterhaus sowie Hof und Garten – erwarb Tischlermeister Theophil Bartschock am 26. April 1876 vom Photographen Christoph Katter. Danach folgten Tischlermeister Paul Paries und Ehefrau, die Schneiderin Johanna Dorothea Friederike Paries geborene Bartschock als Eigentümer. Trotz des Denkmalschutzschildes neben der Tür ist das Gebäude nicht (mehr) in der Denkmalschutzliste des Landkreises eingetragen.
