Description
English: Putzmühle, first recorded in 1600 as one of three flour-mills of Schellerhau. 1618 "Christoph Wecks mill" with compulsory use for Schellerhau, Oberpöbel and Schönfeld. 1690–1698 stamp mill and tin-washings for a nearby tin-mine of the "Hilfe Gottes, Zwitterzeche am Pöbelberg" mining union. 1698–1912 flour-mill, owned by the naming Putze family. Destroyed by fire and re-erected in 1831. Temporarily saw-mill. 1912–1980 restaurant; 1970–1980 in state ownwership. Disused 1980–1998, then reconstructed and carried on as restaurant by Gommlich family.

Zeitweilig Sägemühle. 1912–1980 Gaststätte; 1970–1980 im Besitz der staatlichen HO. Nach Leerstand von 1980–1998 als Gaststätte instandgesetzt und weiterbetrieben von Familie Gommlich.
