English: Human fetus in the 8th month. Giant pyramidal cells. Enlarged. 40:1, section thickness 5 μm. The tectogenetic six-fold development as an embryonic transit stage is well developed. External and internal lamina granularis (2nd and 4th layers) clearly developed. The giant pyramidal cells within the cell-poor and bright lamina ganglionaris (Vg) are in their first stage of development. Cortex and marrow sharply separated. (K. Brodmann, 1909, p. 27, Fig. 5)
Deutsch: Originaler Bildtext: Menschlicher Fetus im 8 Monat. Riesenpyramidentypus. Vergr. 40:1, Schnittdicke 5 μm. Die tektogenetische Sechsschictung als embryonales Durchgangsstadium gut entwickelt. Lamina granularis externa und interna (II. u. IV. Schicht) deutlich ausgebildet. Die Riesenpyramiden innerhalb der zellarmen und hellen Lamina ganglionaris (Vg) in der ersten Entwicklung begriffen.
