Summary
editDescriptionQuarry Track and Footpaths in Strangstry Wood - geograph.org.uk - 716506.jpg |
English: Quarry Track and Footpaths in Strangstry Wood. The footpath junction lies on the Brighouse Boundary Walk on the descent to the valley floor. The Footpath Arrow marker is visible. On the left of the footpaths is, what seems to be an old quarry track leading from workings adjacent to Boothroyd Lane down to the disused Tag Cut on the Calder and Hebble Navigation. I have yet to determine the nature of the stone blocks , which appear to be part of the track. |
