Summary edit
DescriptionQueen's Parade, Bangor (1) - geograph.org.uk - 257247.jpg |
English: Queen's Parade, Bangor (1) Queens Parade was once a street of typical Victorian seaside buildings overlooking the sea. The marina has replaced the sea and the street has fallen into decay (although the two are not necessarily connected). About half of it has been demolished and some of the remainder lies derelict. There are plans for a major redevelopment but they seem to be stalled by bureaucracy. This is a view, by the full moon, towards the bottom of Main Street. A Grade 1 eyesore!! |
