Summary
editDescriptionQueen's Quay - Geograph-3787692-by-The-Carlisle-Kid.jpg |
English: Queen's Quay station - interior - 1976 (10) South interior wall. The door to the left of the taxi booth gave access to a taxi rank and, until the system closed in the early 1950s, a tram service to the city centre. Refreshment rooms, which would have been to the right of this view, were demolished in a 1970s terrorist bomb attack. Location is approximate as the station was demolished following closure, with the site now under the cross-harbour rail and road link. |
