Description |
English: Text from Kiehl log: Mrs. O.W. Peterson's house. March 1898 . Album 2.114
This was the home of dry goods merchant Oscar W. Peterson and family, it was located at 506 1st Avenue West, at the Northeast corner of West Republican Street. It was demolished along with the rest of the half-block prior to 1968, and replaced by a grocery store. Now the site of the uptown Safeway and Tribeca apartments. The Emily Inez Denny mansion lurks in the background, which is now the site of the Queen Anne Dick's. |
