| Description | Crossing the road, on the bridge (not the safest thing to do, but Bohol is refreshingly rural and there is not much traffic) I shot this view along the Loboc River. And to think we had be cruising on this very same river further downstream just a few minutes earlier! Note the dense vegetation on either bank of the river. This is a characteristic feature of most rivers in Bohol such as the Loboc (this one), Abatan (featured earlier in this set) and Loay, among others. Fireflies abound in some places in this vegetation and there are firefly watching tours aplenty in Bohol. The most popular is the one on the Loay river, preceded by dinner at the Bee Farm restaurant. This is rather commercialized and crowded. We therefore opted for the more rural one on the Abatan river, pictures of which appeared earlier in this set. (the first few pictures in this set).
