Quincy Peacock and other members of FEMACorps Eagle Team 4, volunteered on their day off to help gut and clean homes with severe flood damage.They partnered with NECHAMA, a Jewish organization that provides national disaster response and recovery services. They spent eight hours removing the damaged ceiling and exposed insulation in one home and stripping the walls in another. “It was the hardest physical labor we’d done to date,” said team member Noah Chen. “At the end of the day we were covered in sweat, debris and dust, but happy to have accomplished by a job well done.”
