English: Memorial stone commemorating local men participating as military guards at the Norwegian-Swedish border before the dissolution of the union between Norway and Sweden in 1905, by the Røldal Stave Church (Norwegian: Røldal stavkyrkje or Røldal stavkirke), a brown, wooden stave church built in built around the year 1250 in Røldal.
