pigmentation. The influence of the rays on psoriasisis in keeping with the fact demonstrated by one of us (Hyde) twelveyears ago, and frequently since, that some psoriatic patients can freetheir skin of all lesions by prolonged baths. F. S. Burns states that the treatment of this disease by means ofthe Eiontgen rays has been thoroughly tested, and no lesion has failed todisappear under this form of treatment, even though the cases haveresisted all other forms of treatment for a considerable period of time.He bases his conclusions on a series of 150 cases. Morris and Dore * state that they have seen good results in chronicpatches of psoriasis. From four to ten treatments were usually sufficient,in a given group of lesions, to cause them to disappear entirely. ^ Niederrheinische Gesellschaft fiir Natur- und Heilkunde in Bonn, 11, ii., 1901.^Journal of the American Medical Association, January 3, 1903, p. 4.3 Boston Medical Journal, October 23, 1903.* British Med.
