Summary edit

Description
English: Austin 12/4 converted for use as invalid car. The body was cut horizontally 1/2" above the waist moulding, and then rebuilt to give additional 8" headroom, and the wasitline was raised 2" to cut down the glass area. The difficulty of loading was overcome by having a removable centre pillar and carrying two folding ramps which stowed away beneath the driver's seat. The invalid chair was held in place by two quick action toggles
