Description A Douglas R4D-8 (BuNo 39104) of U.S. Navy training squadron VT-29, based at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas (USA), in 1962. This aircraft was originally ordered as U.S. Army Air Force TC-47B, serial 44-76789, and was designated R4D-7 by the U.S. Navy. It was later converted to a R4D-8 and was redesignated TC-47K in 1962.
