Description A Royal Air Force Handley Page Victor tanker refuels a U.S. Navy Grumman KA-6D Intruder from Attack Squadron VA-65 Tigers, left, and a McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II from Fighter Squadron VF-102 Diamondbacks during the NATO exercise "Royal Knight" over the North Atlantic. Both USN squadrons were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence (CVA-62) for a deployment to the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea from 16 September 1971 to 16 March 1972.
