RCA Victor AM-FM Tube Radio

I found this years ago at a yard sale, and it was covered in paint spots, and the dial needle was broke. So, today I put a new cord on it, and to my surprise, it worked great! So, I soldered the needle back together, and did a good cleaning job. This thing has an 8" speaker and sounds fantastic. Model is 3-RF-91. Mine is the only internet pictured one with the needle intact, most were broken, because it is an exposed needle.
Comment: This style of dial first appeared in 1951 as 1R81 'Livingston'; the 3RF91 'Woodland' appeared in 1955 model year and looks identical. Inside, it's quite complex for the period, having 9 tubes. It is fairly large, 419 x 254 x 229 mm, and heavy, 8.6 kg [1].
