Note that some alterations were made to the layout during construction. lifeboat arrangement was changed later so that in 1915 there were 11 boats either side plus collapsible boats stored under each lifeboat and on the after deck rather than the 16 shown. |

Source | 'Engineering' Magazine for 14 May 1915. Also published in 'Lusitania's last voyage' by Charles Lauriat, Houghton Mifflin company, Boston and new York, available online at [1]. In the book it states the drawings were originally published in 'Engineering' in 1907 when the ship entered service and then reprinted in 1915.
