Português: A dolina Buraco das Araras tem aproximadamente 100 metros de profundidade. No seu interior há um pequeno lago cujo nível d'água é praticamente constante mesmo na estação seca (especialistas acreditam que seja o afloramento de uma rede de condutos subterrâneos). Essa característica, aliada à deposição de sedimentos minerais e matéria orgânica e menor período de insolação, devido aos paredões que funcionam como anteparo ao sol baixo, possibilitaram o desenvolvimento de um fragmento florestal cuja feição é bem diferente da vegetação do entorno do buraco: essa pequena mata interior é sempre verde e conta com espécies vegetais peculiares, enquanto que o cerrado do entorno da dolina perde parte das folhas e várias árvores apresentam a copa dourada no período de seca.
