It is the statement of an Romanian consular functionary about my own case, translated by a sworn translator paid by myself. I paid for it, therefore it is mine. I release it in the public domain.
The original of this document has been successfully used to prove an exemption from the requirement to renounce original nationality while being naturalized as a Dutch subject, as provided by Regeling verkrijging en verlies Nederlanderschap, Hoofdstuk II, Afdeling III (Vrijstellingen van de afstandsverplichting), Art. 6.1.d. (Disposition about receiving and losing the Dutch nationality, Ch. II, Section III, Exemptions from requirement to renounce original nationality, art. 6.1.d.)
Namely, the amount of 515 Euro consular fees to be paid in case that such citizen would renounce to his Romanian nationality, it has officially been considered "serious financial loss", when compared with a monthly income of about 80 Euro (basic scholarship from Informatie Beheer Groep). The study loan received at the same time from the IB Groep did not count as a source of income.
