| Object history |
Donated to Brighton Museum in 1918 by Arthur Foster Griffith, along with a large collections of 'Minerals, antiquities and ethnographical specimens'. He was a local Alderman, Solicitor, Naturalist, and Collector, and was involved in the Booth Museum committee. This is the only item in the collection recorded as being from Bechuanaland. Collections from the Bechuanaland Protectorate, now the Republic of Botswana, are the focus of the 2019 Making African Connections research project. |
