English: Rabenauer Mühle; first recorded as saw-mill of the noble Miltitz family in 1488. Licensed as restaurant in 1830. Wedding celebration of Helene Richter, daughter of Adrian Ludwig Richter in 1856.
I In 1868 a wood pulp mill for fresh spruce is recorded as integrated part of the Hainsberg Paper Works. 1869 is the mill destroyed by fire and re-erected as Swiss style-restaurant and wood pulp mill. In 1872 Karl Ernst Hartig described the mill as follows: The mill was powered by an overshot water wheel. It had two sandstone grinding rollers, a presorting set of two sifting drums, a second set of grinding rollers for refining the wood fibers and a three-drum sifting set for post-sorting the fibers and a pulp press roller. With sufficient supply of water the mill was able to produce 1006 pounds of dry fibers within 24 hours. In 1882 the mill became connected with the railway system by the narrow-gauge Weisseritztalbahn. In 1994 the restaurant underwent a complete renovation; a new hotel was installed as well. In 2002 the premises were flooded and severely damaged, but repaired after a short interruption.
