Rackham Banks Cross dyke runs for 250 metres across the ridge of the South Downs. It comprises one ditch parallel to a bank, and likely dates from the Middle Bronze Age. The dyke may have had a variety of uses, ranging from a boundary marker between settlements to a trackway or path for driving livestock.
