English: Protests combusted Macedonia after police raid Monster and claims of police claims "followers of radical Islam" are responsible for the killings of five citizens during Good Friday holiday last month. Although small in terms of presence, these belligerent adolescents were loud to send their message of anger and paroles mainly addressed to Albanian population in the country. Members of non majority of population had protested against the state institutions and the way the police officers brought arrested women in hijab to the Basic court in Skopje. Police arrested twenty person, although submitted charges only on six person. Following the police raid, investigative judge issued 30 days in detention for those six person. If public prosecutors decide to accept police evidence and materials the case will wait for its end in the court procedure. |
