It was soon found that all ofthe papillomata responded to radiation and disappeared with varyingamounts of treatment, depending upon the size of the tumor. Technique. By means of a special cystoscope 100 milligrams ofradium were carried into the bladder which was previously distendedwith fluid, and then under direct vision the radium was placed againstthe tumor mass. It was usually left in position for one hour and thetreatment was repeated about every second or third day.
