Suomi: raha; klippinki; markka; Markka, klippinki. Herttuat Juhana ja Kaarle (tulevat kuninkaat Juhana III ja Kaarle IX) kapinoivat vuonna 1568 veljeänsä kuningas Eerik XIV:ä vastaan ja lyöttivät siinä yhteydessä omaa rahaa Vadstenassa. Klippinkejä eli neliskanttisia rahoja oli nopeampi ja helpompi valmistaa, kuin pyöreitä rahoja. Juhanan ja Kaarlen lyöttämät hopeaklippingit tunnettiin myös nimellä "veriklippingit", koska osa hopeasta oli saatu Märta Lejonhufvudilta, joka puolestaan oli saanut hopean korvauksena kuningas Eerik XIV:ltä tämän murhautettua Lejonhufvudin miehen Svante Sturen.
