English: Railway Crossing, Chantry Road A view north from the Chantry Road crossing. The signal box controlling the whole East Suffolk line, and the 1856 station, are visible in the distance. Originally the platform for the Lowestoft direction was on the left here, and extended across the road on a special gate, with an additional section for pedestrian access running on its own railway lines. |
