| Description |
English: Railway bridge, Whitehouse (2). See 1754521. A two-arch bridge carrying the Belfast - Londonderry and Larne Harbour lines. It probably dates from the building of the line as far as Greenisland in 1848. This span crosses Whitehouse Park. Whitehouse station (1906/54) was out of picture on the right. In 1941 Whitehouse served as a temporary terminus after Belfast York Road 498060 had been bombed by the Luftwaffe. |
