| Description |
English: Railway bridge remains near Ballycastle The narrow (3ft) gauge railway from Ballymoney to Ballycastle opened in 1880 and closed in 1950. This bridge carried the line across the Hillside Road 1259091. The bridge parapets remain but the embankment (out of picture to the left) has been levelled and returned to agricultural use. The bridge was just over a mile north of the exit from Capecastle tunnel (66 yards). |
