| Description |
English: Railways round Ely photo survey (48) Looking south at the route indicator signal which controls down traffic on the single-track line from Newmarket as it approaches Ely Dock Junction where it joins the Cambridge to Kings Lynn mainline. The overhead electrification masts on the mainline can be seen and Ely cathedral is on the skyline. Immediately beyond the signal a farm track crosses the line at an unmanned level crossing. |
