Summary
editDescriptionRainbow Andradite Crystal.jpg |
English: Crystal size: 8 mm.
Mining location: Kitozumi, Tenkawa Village, Yoshino District, Nara Province, Japan. "Rainbow andradite" is the name given to strongly iridescent specimens of the Andradite garnet species, most of which seem to originate from the Nara Province in Japan. Comprehensive information on this topic is to be found here: http://www.gia.edu/gems-gemology/winter-2006-iridescence-rainbow-andradite-japan-hainschwangFrançais : Taille de l'échantillon: 8 mm.
