Summary edit

Description
English: Located almost at the center of the old city of Rajgir, this ancient site has been mentioned in Pali texts and in Mahabharata as Mani-Naga. It is a well-like structure which might have contained some artifacts in the past. A while ago, one could see high stucco images of a Linga, Vishnu, Ganesha and Shiva. However most of these images have now disappeared. From the art style, experts have concluded that the images belonged to the Gupta period around 5th century AD.
