Ramghat is very famous as it is also the place of sages. According to the story of Mahabharata of Ramghat daparyug, this religious place is believed to have originated from the arrow of Arjuna. Devotees from neighboring India are also believed to attain Moksha by bathing in Kartik Punirma according to Hindu tradition on this day in the river Ganga.
