Description
English: Ranapa or Ronopa is a folk dance form from the Indian state of Odisha. This dance is generally performed by the performers holding wooden sticks in between their toes, and accompanied by music performed by co-performers. The three major instruments used for the performance are conch shells ("sonkho", "ଶଙ୍ଖ") as a bass instrument, "Kahali" (କାହାଳୀ), a trumpet of local origin as the lead, and a percussion drum.
