The role of Rangoli during Diwali

Description
English: Rangoli is a mandala art, made using colors in India during the festival of Diwali. Rangoli represents lotus flower, which is symbol of prosperity and wealth. Indians make Rangoli to welcome Laxmi, goddess of wealth. Diwali is the last day of the year by Hindu calendar, which is the new moon day. Hence, the Diya (lamp) is lit on that day to remove darkness and diseases. All these colors and lamp create good mood.
हिन्दी: रंगोली एक मंडला कला है, जिसे भारत में दिवाली के त्योहार के दौरान रंगों का उपयोग करके बनाया जाता है। रंगोली कमल के फूल को दर्शाती है, जो समृद्धि और धन का प्रतीक है। भारतीय धन की देवी लक्ष्मी के स्वागत के लिए रंगोली बनाते हैं। दीवाली हिंदू कैलेंडर के अनुसार साल का आखिरी दिन है, जो अमावस्या का दिन है। अत: अंधकार और रोगों को दूर करने के लिए उस दिन दीया (दीपक) जलाया जाता है। ये सभी रंग और दीपक अच्छी मनोदशा का निर्माण करते हैं।
