Description
English: Rank frequency distribution of given names (upper string of red dots, n = 2.222, N = 1.699.147) and surnames (lower string, n = 15.686, N = 1.615.376) in Slovenia, with frequencies 10 or above from the 1971 census (1.727.137 inhabitants); the curve of Mandelbrot's model f(r) ~ ∝((r+β)-α) (in dark grey) is fitted. Error rate, the average difference between observed values and values, computed from the Mandelbrot's model was 4,75 % for given names and 6,44 % for surnames.
