Description
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr. Raoul Wallenberg (1912-1947?), Swedish diplomat who worked in Budapest, during World War II to rescue Jews from the Holocaust. This plaque was affixed to the wall of the former British Embassy in Budapest October 15, 2010, the building where Wallenberg and his colleagues found refuge at the end of the year 1944. Author of the bronz relief: Antal Czinder. (Budapest, District V, Harmincad Street Nr 6).
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. Raoul Wallenberg (1712-1947?), diplomate suédois en mission à Budapest pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale qui réussit de sauver les miliers des Juifs de Hongrie en profitant son statut de diplomate. Cette plaque fut apposée sur le mur de l'ancien ambassade de Grande-Bretagne à Budapest le 15 octobre 2010, bâtiment où Wallenberg et ses collaborateurs trouvèrent refuge à la fin de l’an 1944. Auteur du relief en bronze: Antal Czinder. (6, rue Harmincad, Budapest, 5e).
Magyar: Raoul Wallenberg (1912-1947?) svéd diplomata emléktáblája, aki a második világháború idején magyar zsidók ezreit mentette meg a deportálástól. Ezt a táblát 2010. október 15-én az egykori budapesti brit nagykövetség falán helyezték el, ahol 1944 végén munkatársaival együtt menedéket talált. A bronz dombormű alkotója: Czinder Antal. (Budapest, V. ker. Harmincad utca 6.).
