Description
Deutsch: Blick über die Feldflur (vorne blühender Raps) nordwestlich von Grave in Brevörde nach Nordosten ins Wesertal; Landkreis Holzminden, Niedersachsen. Im Hintergrund (weitgehend vom Flussnebel verdeckt) die Weserklippen bei Steinmühle in Pegestorf im Naturschutzgebiet „Mühlenberg bei Pegestorf“ (NSG HA 048).
English: This image presents a view over the valley of the river Weser at Lower Saxony, Germany.
In the background there are the cliffs formed by the river escalating behind a place called Steinmühle, once erected as a mill using a spring's water at the bottom of the cliffs. This morning in early May 2008 the river is coverd by a thin band of fog vanishing in the bright morning light soon. The cliffs (hidden in the fog) are part of the "Mühlenberg bei Pegestorf" nature reserve in Samtgemeinde Polle-Bodenwerder.
