Description
Norsk bokmål: Alterbilde fra 1724 malt av Rasmus Jacobsen Teilgaard. Iflg. Norsk kunstnerleksikon ble den opprinnelig malt til Fosna kirke og flyttet til Kirkelandets kirke i Kristiansund, brent 1940.

Omtale av altertavlen i Malerkunsten i Norge i det attende aarhundre: 1724 signerte han det staselige alterbillede for den 1726 færdigbyggede kirke i Kristianssund. Kirken blev revet 1884, men altertavlen hænger nu i koret i Kirkelandets kirke i Kristianssund og har sin originale ramme av en listtype med régence-ornamentik, som oftere findes paa Trond hjemsarbeider fra denne tid. Billedet som er meget stort, fremstiller «hyrdernes tilbedelse», bærer indskriftmed givernes navn samt «Pinxit Erasmus Tegelgaardius» — «Anno 1724».
